That is an awful lot of words to deal with, S.!!!

What I enjoy about it is also what makes it hard to deal with-- whenever I copy-edit, I go into the reality of the writer-- have to, to make any adjustments that fit the voice of the author. Sometimes it's hard to back out of that reality and get back into present-time, but it's always worth the trip and I always learn much more than I give in the work. I also find that I am well into the realities of the people who will ultimately read the material-- what will they pick up on, wonder about, care about, etc. In this case I found out that a good number of pieces to work with at a time would have been 4 or 5-- not 10-12! :~) But the backlog is well on its way to being done, and they will not pile up again, now that I have been able to identify another volunteer and the process to follow.

DP, if I might offer an observation-- you seem to be traveling at warp speed. I'm impressed. You seem to know your own process quite well.
