I finally chipped my back door loose of the slide frame and got it open in time to feed the dogs this evening. The freezing rain glued it shut, might again because it won't be above freezing for a couple of more days. So the 2 steps that I set up using patio bricks next to the bedroom window will stay for the rest of the week so the dogs can get into the house.

Speaking of which, they're in here and they've been awfully quiet. . .
