Ruddy hell.....

Starts as a tribute to a genuine good footballer who has brought pleasure to millions, lifted the game and shown the type of club loyalty that is sadly lacking these days...

And we end up with references to Egypt and Hitler.

Wish there were more like Mr Neville. Young players have a role model to aspire to. Oh, and yes, his party piece is the throw in. Stanley Matthews was fit for his day and could stay on till 53. Players around him smoked, lived on fish & chips and would struggle to keep up in a Sunday league these days. His wizard reputation was well founded, looking at old footage but his longevity was a product of his day.

Neville retired when he couldn't compete for a place in the team he loved, rather than drop a league and show loyalty elsewhere. THAT is the difference between a football fan being good at the game and seeing the game rather than the club as your career.
