Why then are you not outraged that people build and sell cars that go 180 MPH. Nowhere on any US highway can you go more than 70 or so MPH. yet every single day some crazy bastard rockets down the highway and kills a whole bunch on innocent people. Compare to a crazy bastard that once every so many years flips out and starts shooting people. However there are far more crazies traveling 100 or so down a public highway everyday and you see it everyday on the news. using your logic no car should be made that allows those speeds so where is the outrage at that I ask? I see little difference if the whole idea is the protection of the general public, their safety and well being as you point out here.
