How can anyone suggest that The Archers should go when things are getting so mightily interesting? We've had Lizzie simpering this week that she tried to persuade the virtually-beatified-already Nigel not to go on that roof, and here's Guilty Dave bending over backwards to such an extent that he's not only disappearing up his own arse but he's also severely threatening, owing to sheer neglect, his own marriage to Ruth (Er, ner!!). Not that that would be much of a loss, of course. Possibly even a gain. But we all know that Guilty Dave actually encouraged Nige on to that roof, don't we? "C'mon, Nigel, are you a man or a mouse," remember? Either Guilty Dave will blurt it out to Lizzie pretty soon, or, much worse for him, a witness to that fateful remark will blurt it out (I'm guessing Freddie, or even Titcombe, who might at last find his tongue). It was a dark night, after all, and who knows who might have been listening? Give it two more weeks. You won't regret it.
