You're absolutely right Grishka, but interestingly, I do know a few words of Swahili. My late Father was posted to East Africa in WW2. Before he left the UK, the army enrolled him in a 6 month, total immersion course in Swahili, at the end of which he was a fluent speaker. When I was growing up at home he would often use Swahili words & phrases around the house...calling me if he needed help with some chores...wanting to know where I was, that sort of thing. I can remember only a fraction of the things he used to say... it remains an endearing & enduring memory of a much loved Father.
