I've stopped nuking most of my vegetables. I use the saucepan and the steamer basket with a little water in the covered pan. I like it much better than what the microwave does to the veggies.

I didn't describe my freezing process, but I use waxed paper on the pan and when I have frozen the breasts I usually peel the paper and breasts off of the pan and tear the paper so it wraps at least part of the individually frozen breasts that are put in the heavy duty freezer gallon zip lock bags. I freeze most meat that way, on waxed paper or already wrapped individually in plastic wrap.

I felt like steak tonight and found a discounted NY strip steak when I was out shopping (Albertson's w/ a coupon.) So, a $6 steak and about $.15 of potatoes were cooked up this evening.

I came close to finishing the newsletters, but I spent enough time on them for today - that isn't a little script speaking, that is the voice that says Saturday has come and gone and those things are looking good, and can be proof-read one more time in the morning, then sent.

Some laundry done, some linens changed and ready to go in the washer. I need to wash the dishes in the sink. But the house hasn't gotten too messy this week. Into the garden tomorrow.
