I got up early this morning and walked 13.7 miles in 2 hours and 58 minutes! it would have been slightly quicker but I had to navigate round 2 rather large round-a-bouts!. I'm in serious training mode at the moment as I am doing the London Moonwalk which is a full marathon in May and the London Sunwalk which is a half marathon in July (both are powerwalked) to raise money for the Walk the Walk Charity to raise money for breast cancer charities and to raise awareness.I am hoping to complete the full marathon in 6 hours, just got to keep up the training.

I've dropped down to a uk size 12, not been this slim since I was 18 years old and it feels fantastic! Still keeping up with my step aerobics, body combat, body pump and spinning classes inbetween training walks. I've got a friend whos a fitness instructor who gives me good pointers. Paul has been losing weight too and says he feels better for it as well.

The house extension is coming along nicely but had to be put on hold due to the bad weather in December and January. I'm starting to sort out my veggie patches in the garden and need toget the bits together for the mini greenhouses to start planting seeds next month.

On the whole I think 2011 is going to be a really good year!
