The more or less "official" abbreviated reference is SCOTUS for "Supreme Court of the United States."

One notorious spellchecker a few (computer) generations back insisted it should be corrected to "scrotums," and somehow that always flashes through my mind every time I type it (which is more often than I really like to do). _{I try not the think of the standup commedians of that time who made reference to "dried up wrinkly old bags.}
