When we got married, it was in the South of Holland. I invited my parents and my wife invited hers.
We didn't tell anybody else and we had a smashing time, including a lovely meal that cost a fortune in a castle with black swans swimming in the moat around the castle.
They have modernised it since, but it was fantastic and we didn't have all the squabbling or cost :-)
