My heart is aching for you all. New Zealanders are made of amazing stuff, and will be very pragmatic and stoic about the whole thing, but there must be such anguish within.

I had planned, before my house move, to visit NZ around now for my Granddaughter's birthday on March 13th, and I was going to visit Christchurch first, and then tour the South Island for a bit.

Be assured that a hell of a lot of people are holding you all in our (virtual) arms.
