Regarding the Venables situation, another man--Calvert--has been wrongly ID'd as Venables and some people were ready to kill him. They couldn't understand that the press could not possibly report on Calvert as being Venables without violating this cloak of secrecy and so it follows that Mr. Calvert cannot possibly be Venables. So an innocent man who had nothing to do with anything has his good name smeared all over the place and death threats in order to protect the bastard who actually committed the murder. That's absurd to the point of being a crime in itself. Britain needs to fix its own justice system before worrying about the King of Bahrain.

Someone else mentioned that victims are shat upon because they are viewed as the weak ones. Victim is a Latin word that essentially means "I conquer you" so there you go.
