As for John Lennon, and as what you think he would be supporting either side..do you think he would also support Americans taking up arms against each other?

I am opposed to Americans reaching this kind of chaos, nor do I support anyone who does, nor do I support anyone recruiting others to do so!
Nor do I support either party, whose divisive rhetoric, to inflame others to do so.

I did NOT support Sen. McCain, nor did I support Obama...and as so far as, ..."the Repubs "LIE TEAM"...Obama doesn't need a 'team'..he is doing just fine, in that area, all by himself!..So much, that he has been an embarrassment to the Democrat party, don't you think??
