There is built in prejudice against Travellers in Britain and Ireland - hard to describe it as racism as Travellers are not oficially recognised as seperate ethnic groups.

The last census of Ireland had 'Travelling community' as a choice under the heading 'ethnicity'. And possibly the one before last as well although my recollection of that is less clear.
