Jane Russell always seemed such a strong buxom woman for the time not at all like the girly wilting flower kind some women portrayed back then. Although she was famous for that 'cleavage' shot (directed by Howard Hughes) as far as I know she didn't get labelled with an 'easy' label as Monroe did. Perhaps she was stronger and could handle that kind of thing better.
