SRS....love that you are cooking and using what you make. Sometimes I make stuff and don't use it. I'm getting better about that. Tonight we are having Shepard's Pie (with lean ground beef...NO LAMB..ICK) and veggies from last summer's garden that I put up or froze. YUM. I also made that cake...it's currently cooking off in the fridge (I'd put it on the porch but we have a hungry, snooping possum) and I made the frosting from scratch.

What a great idea for Morgan too!!! Kids LOVE to watch things grow, especially when they have planted it themselves and cared for it. My first graders had fun decorating the pots and naming their plants too!
