Somebody mentioned the fact that the Geordie accent is different on baith sides of Newcassel! Whey man! It's even mair localised than that! When aah wez a bairn we lived in Hampshire Gardens, Holy Cross Waallsend and the people in the next street, Sussex Gardens, spoke a different dialect! If ye went roond the corner intiv Bede Crescent it wez different again!
