What a lovely evening. Deborah's home is so beautiful - an old Victorian. Lots of sweets, wine, music and good company. Jed performed some old classics and some new songs he has written for an upcoming TV special about Bleeding Kansas and the Bushwackers. Banjo and guitar in hand, he sang everything from 60's folk to Irish ballads with a spiritual or two.Lots of requests which were for his own songs. And stories to go along with each.
Friends of his came up from Boston along with some Mainers. They brought a bunch of guitars and a banjo. There was a mandolin floating around. Lots of music. Captain and Mrs. Morse offered a few songs.
A really special evening.
Breakfast with Jacqui tomorrow for all who can get their butts out of bed.
If you have a chance to see Jed perform, do not miss it. Even the Playboy Channel has chosen to feature him.He is as pretty as he is talented.
