Why do 'creationists' need to do 'research' when they believe that they already know the 'answer' (i.e. 'God did it, it's all in the Bible')?

I suspect that their real motive for doing 'research' is in order to 'prove' that the Theory of Evolution is false. But I've got news for them - and you - you can't prove a negative and it is illogical and unscientific to try. No scientist, in the real world, would receive research funding for such a project!
