Subject: RE: BS: Kat needs your good thoughts
Thank you all so very much. I had a good night of sleep last night, despite the cpap being such an old relic.:-) My mind was calmer, thanks to you lot, I am sure, and I did get an okay from the doc to take a benadryl which helped me get to sleep.

I loathe the idea of the sleep study because all I remember from six years ago was tons of goop in my long hair, attached to wires and a tech who kept remarking on how he just couldn't understand why the stuff should bother me so. The doc, this time, said they've made it as non-hospital-like as possible. It is located in a hotel near the airport! But, I told him I am the original princess from the princess and the pea. I know this sounds negative, but I don't expect to get any sleep whilst there, though I will have my own pillow. No cats, no Rog, no adjustable comfort-air bed, etc. I am a cat and we do not like change!

There, now that I've named it maybe it will purge and I can think better of it. I know it will be good in that we will know whether I need a bi-pap instead of a cpap, when done, and how to calibrate it, etc. I just don't relish spending a night away from home with a stranger, tied up to some machines.:-)

The PH is rather scary sounding. Rog nor I remember the docs ever saying much about it until this year. We are both wondering why none of the docs, specialists included, and the ones at the hospitals just recently, never suggested a consult. I won't dwell on the past, but it is puzzling.

Thanks for listening!
