just to clarify;my post was not referring to fraudulent finds like the piltdown man.i,m not sure how long it took for it,s exposure to be public knowledge ,and how many people forfeited their faith on account of a hoax.
i understand that haeckals fraudulent embryos drawings persisted a long time and can even be found in current text books.
i am not however implying that evolutionists in general resort to such dishonesty.
