I was looking for the words to this song and found this thread. I have a 33 1/3 rpm record from Peter Pan Records with this song on it. Right now I cannot use my record player but can remember the tune. The name of the record is Children's Songs of Reverence. Apparently it is performed by the Peter Pan Orchestra and Chorus. It has these songs on it - Lord's Prayer, Jesus Loves Me, Angels in the Sky, Savior Teach Me Day by Day, Rock of Ages, Jesus Tender Shepherd Hear Me, He, Stand Up Stand Up for Jesus, God Bless Us All, Onward Christian Soldiers, Because, and Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I can't find a recording date. I loved this record as a child.
