I'm running WinXP Home.

I went to view a video as normal and got the message that I need Flashplayer, which has happened before and then I just go to Adobe on the link given and download it again.

This time, when I hit the download button I got the yellow "warning" bar at the top of the browser (which normally after clicking it the download begins) and nothing happened, then a page appeared telling me that windows had "failed to restore this window" and that there may be a problem with this site (Adobe).

I tried it with Google Chrome and that just says plugin crashed.

Any ideas please?

As far as I know I have changed nothing on my pc.
