I have been having the same probs with shockwave flash plugin crashing in chrome for a week or more. I googled fixes and found non that worked.

Now when it crashes, I just close the browser and start over again. That usually regenerates the plugin. After using it a couple of times it usually crashes again. I close the browser and start over.

Adobe did request to install an update this morning and I let it, but the shockwave crash is still happening.
