Cold and overcast here with a little chance of rain today. It's looking better later in the week. I've been planting slowly, but today I'll work on some of the garden stuff that I need to pull together. I need to inventory all of my fittings, nozzles, sprinklers, hoses, etc.

Yesterday I passed by signs for an estate sale and couldn't resist. And it turned out to be the home of an antique dealer. It was full to the gills with wonderful things I couldn't touch (financially) but I enjoyed looking, and made a few modest purchases. I now have a utilitarian yet lovely cake stand (I have some low footed ones, but I've wanted one with a pedestal). I'd be a fool if I didn't take the message from that house that it is way-cluttered. Of course, this is where he conducted his business (lots of tools there) and there were a couple of those things I wish I had picked up, so if I'm on that side of town later today, I'll swing past to see if they're still there.

Laundry is in, kitchen is clean, and since I have to water the garden I'm testing a sprinkler (from the estate) to see how it works. It's one of those that is supposed to do a square - and it seems to! $2.
