This is a powerful song about social unrest, possibly from the mid-1800s. Unfortunately this line, which is the chorus and may be the title, is the only thing I can precisely remember about it; it doesn't seem to be in the Digitrad.

If it rings any bells with anyone, I'd be grateful to know.
