I have a gold plated plectrum banjo made by Wayne Fairchild. It is in mint condition and beautiful. I noticed that most of his gold plated banjo's had a wood body showing. This banjo is all gold plated front and back of the base. The only markings are on the inside of the base saying "Fairchild, made in the USA, 3846. I am trying to find out what year it was made and the value this would bring in today's market. Do you have any information that would be helpful in this matter?
