For Flatpicking my 1943(?) Gibson J100 Super Jumbo has a great bass without being "boomy", For fingerpicking it's a toss up between my 1935 Martin 00-42, or my 1977 Martim SOM-45, both great guitars, with the 45 just a little more "bottom end"
