Same with me Dave - I've been using varifocals for about 15 years now - only take them off for bed or shower.

I tend to crochet while watching TV or at a concert , whatever and varifocals mean that I can see close up and distance without changing the specs. I would love to do without completely but it ain't going to happen now.
