Skarpi, It is certainly not bad karma--nothing you may imagine you have done makes you deserve that kind of thing--and your daughter certainly is not tortured to punish you...bad things happen to people in this great irrational machine of which we are all a part: You can't believe that that Palestinian father had done anything to deserve having his son shot to death as they huddled against a wall last weekend. Be strong and loving for your daughter and let her know that she is in no way diminished by what happened to her.
