Thread Name: Folkweave radio show from the bbc
Subject: RE: Folkweave radio show from the bbc
As one of the many engineers who had the honour of sitting in a transit van, out by the bins, at the back of some nondescript pub in the middle of bloody nowhere. Tony Capstick, yes (before my time) but latterly Jim Lloyd were the presenters. Folkweave was a Birmingham production, out of Pebble Mill. (Long demolished). And, sadly, nearly all of the tapes have gone as well.
It's a real shame that the Beeb threw them astray. Hey Ho!
All those Outside Broadcasts were done on a shoe string anyway.
