Capital Foods is a wholesale operation that features delivery of frozen meat seafood and chicken by contractors with a guranteed replacment policy in the event of power outage.
After a $1,700 purchase we had a 6 day power outage in January. They would not replace a single item.
The repl;acment policy does not extend to end consumers.
Pepco Electric claimed it was God's fault and they will not help with any losses of life or property as a result of the snow storm. As we all know electricity does not work in the snow anyway.?
I found a frozen food item in safeway that was pressure pringted (no ink) with an expiration date over a year old,
The manager paid me back but said Safeway is not respondsible for past date food that may be dangerous, the food was from an outside contractor that rents the freezer shelf space. The outside contractors are not respondsible since the food is in the possesion of Safeway.
We further discovered that...
Only the end consumer is respondsible for medical costs or funeral costs as a result of dangerous food.
