Hey Everyone:At long last the stars are aligned, my foot is starting to heal, there are no conflicting workt trips. I'm Coming to the GETAWAY!!!!
I dropped my application off at Jennifer Woods' house yesterday (The advantage of living a mile away from "folk epicenter" with the highest concentration per square mile of folk enthusiasts on his continent!).
I still can't drive legally so I am looking for someone with room for me and my stuff (duffle, washtub bass, banjo, and autoharp) that can give me a lift. I am taking Friday off and can go up anytime. However, I need to get back sometime late Sunday night. I will glady share gas costs, etc. (JudyO ?)
If that doesn't work out, I may be able to use my wife's car and will need people to help drive it up and back. So if you need a ride and are willing to drive an old 91 Toyota Camry let me know too.
Since I have never been before what should I bring other than my voice, other instruments, song books, a tape recorder (do people mind if others tape the workshops?), and clothes?
Last year I planned to go, and then had to attend a professional conference instead. I can't wait.
JAB
