I had a coworker whose husband was Cuban. One day he went for visit home with a very heavy suitcase - packed rim to rim with bars of soap. Each family gets one bar (or was it half a bar?) of soap a month.

So, Les, I don't know what they told you, but I don't believe that about the excellent education and health care. I doubt if a nation that can't come up with soap can provide those things.
