The Green Note is absolutely NOT hideous. It couldn't be any less hideous in fact. The only person I've ever heard say anything but complimentary stuff about the venue is Bonzo in his various guises.

The reason? Nothing beyond the simple fact that they have the temerity to serve vegetarian fayre to an unrepentant arch carnivore.

I'm not a vegetarian myself but I love the food in there. It's wholesome, organic and imaginative. Everything else about the venue is top class. The sound, the decor, the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of music and the value for money.

Pay no attention to the musings of a grumpy old man with an assinine bone to pick.
