I am heartened to see the positive posts here and the praise for what the regime has produced in the way of public services and inspiration to a population living though very difficult circumstances.

If so many of us have the sense to ubderstand what is being achieved in Cuba, why do those same people march around the pages of Mudcat, trumpeting the cause of "Western democracy, and the idiocy of large parts of the "Human Rights Act."
