Damn - and I thought this was going to be a Fortean Thread on showers of frogs and fish and such-like.
Here's something though - my wife's just rang to tell me that on account of yesterday's unseasonable & untypical sunshine here in the North West a total of 93 people had to be rescued by the coast guard having ventured out onto The Fylde sands only to be cut off by the ever cunning tides. Hardly weird weather, but just shows how little we understand such things these days.
Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink. Though there are plans afoot to start replenishing our depleted reservoirs by importing huge bergs of polar ice which (it is reckoned) would just melt anyway, so why not put it some use?
