If you're looking for folk around Tiverton itself try the Tivvyfest [www.tivvyfest.com] running throughout May with several folk events, including a "Jan Stewer" Night on Friday 6th , singaround or music session (choice) on Sunday 8th and plenty of other concert-type events later in the month. There's a monthly club in Tiverton itself (1st Tuesday) as well as an excellent singaround/session not far away at Pennymoor (3rd Wednesday - and don't forget their Song & Ale weekend in June).
