I'm sure that everyone, Brits and Icelanders alike, absolutely agrees with you that there's a debt that should be repaid, but beating the ordinary people of Iceland with a big stick for something they didn't do is like kicking the poor sods when they're well and truly down. Seems that way to me anyway. I think they've probably been hit far harder than most of us over here, and it's bad enough for us so what must it be like for them?

I'm lusting for blood over this too, but it's not the likes of poor old Skarpi's I want to see - it's those grasping, greedy, selfish excuses-for-human-beings that brought this pile o'shite down on our heads.
