Thread Name: Yuri Gagarin's Lullaby
Subject: RE: Yuri Gagarin's Lullaby
Found a charming audio of something in Russian from the wiki page. You may listen to it HERE. It sounds like a lullaby. If he has time, I can ask my brother if he can translate any of it. It's really beautiful, imo. The only clue on Wiki was "Motherland hears" so maybe it's just propaganda? Ah, a further look shows this info:

Motherland Hears
"...how her son flies in the skies..."
A pioneer chorus sing a patriotic song
Music: D. Shostakovich Lyrics: E.Dolmatovskiy Singer: BDKh p/u V.Popova, solist D.Golov, 1951г.

Which is from HERE

Ah, 'twil be easier for my brother to get to as I can email him the Russian lyrics from HERE

Back to what you were looking for. There is a sneak peek of it on youtube, in English and Russian, HERE. According to Wiki, he never said he didn't see god....it was Kruschev who said Yuri didn't see god, fwiw.
