What makes anyone assume the opening message is bogus? Have you seen the desperate tone of some of the other help-me voice threads? What if English isn't even Akash's first language?

Even if the post is a put-on, this thread still has loads of good advice which could be of benefit to somebody else. And if it isn't, that sort of assumption is hardly going to encourage this new member (who's already feeling bad enough) to come back here. Personally I can see nothing in what Akash wrote to suggest falseness - it rings all too true. Whatever happened to giving newcomers the benefit of the doubt? (The anonymous Guest's "joke" is in poor taste too - thought they weren't even allowed anymore.)

I too hope Akash will tell us more about his/her music.
