Thread Name: Feudin' in the Bluegrass-VP DEBATE 10/5
Subject: RE: Feudin' in the Bluegrass-VP DEBATE 10/5
Yeah, but Kendall, although he never answered the question on profiling, he gave an excellent preamble to it by saying he couldn't know what its like, etc.

I don't like Cheney's politics from past knowledge and JL is pretty conservative too........But the tone and tenor and ACTUAL ANSWERS in this debate was a breath of fresh air. Two professional men sat down and openly discussed their differences of opinion without innuendo, rancor, and name calling.

I too would find it easy to support a ticket with the two of them together. At least I'd feel we had two decent individuals representing us to the world. I'll vote Gore/Lieberman, but I honestly would like to see the same kind of "discussion" occur between Gore and Bush. Within the context of the format they were given, both of the VP candidates spoke to issues in whatever limited time was allowed and they held the Mickey Mouse to a minimum.
