I had a really delicious chilli-con-carne while I was staying there tasting exactly like it should, unlike most places in UK where there are so many versions of it (perhaps it's just Bristol) I have not yet had one that hasn't seemed like an altered bolognaise sauce apart from a few red kidney beans to suggest that it is chilli-con-carne.

Boozy caramalised bananas with chocolate sauce was paradise for my sweet tooth so it suited me fine.
