Just remembered that the superb Tom Bliss is on at Four Fools Club, at the Crown at Worthington, Standish, Nr Wigan on Monday 18th.

I'm really looking forward to seeing him as I believe he is one of the finest songwriters around. He writes such great 'story songs' and is a stunning singer.

He is performing with Phil Wilcox a great accordion player and singer so it will be a really exciting night. And at £5 per ticket I don't think anyone can grumble at the price.

Great place to eat to if you want to make a night of it, wonderful selection of Real Ales and even B&B (and space for a few campervans overnight in the carpark). Roll on Monday.
