I am strongly tempted to paint the brick on the sides and back of my house. The front is an attractive limestone - why they didn't do the entire thing in rock is a puzzle to me. The bricks need sealing/re-pointing, so it won't happen any time soon. A friend whose husband is an architect described my house as "Queen Anne in front, Maryann in back."

I think there is a dead mouse under my dishwasher. Anyone need any rancid fishing bait or to put it in a crawdad trap - it's yours if you want to move the dishwasher to retrieve it. (I need to call a plumber also, so I may just have him look to be sure everything is okay before pushing it back in.) The plumber must finish his work before my basil fills that side bed. No way do I want one of those electric snake machines in my herb garden. Best finish the work before the seeds sprout.
