If you make your neighbors lives unbearable in the US, the courts can order you to move. It has happened many times. In fact, I just read about it again a couple of weeks ago. In some cases, it's necessary--the parties involved are so at war that violence is going to break out if something isn't done. And that's happened many times as well.

The case I refer to happened in my state. A 7-year-old girl was dying of a disease. There was some kind of kiddie party at the girl's house and a neighbor was furious that her children didn't get invitations even though the girl's mother told her that her kids were welcome. This woman then posted mocking death notices about the girl on her Facebook page. On Halloween, she put a coffin in front of the girl's house. She also poked fun of the girl's mother who had died of the same disease. Public outcry forced her to issue a public apology but she continued to cause trouble and, at one point, tried to run one of her neighbors over with her car. She was arrested and the judge said, "Move." And you have to move or the state will move you--into a nice comfy jail cell.
