Hi, Paul- I'm almost sure it's not a change on Mudcat. All the links work on one click for me, so I think it's a setting on your browser - but I can't find such a setting on the version of Firefox I'm using (3.6.16). This may help: go to tools and select "clear recent history" - choose to clear most everything, and I think you'll find your browser will operate more smoothly - and it may clear your click problem.
