I have lived in my neighborhood of Everett, Washington (usa) for over 20 years. During those years, I've had my frustrations with many rude neighbors: druggies, dope dealers, prostitutes, thieves, noisy dogs, late night parties, etc. I've survived ... better than some.

BUT ... what REALLY gets me is the Sunday afternoon bible thumpers. I'm surrounded by 5 (count 'em ... FIVE) CHURCHES. Each church is filled with people who feel that their sole (there's a pun there folks) obligation is to save my soul from things that THEY view as a threat.

I have several prominant signs that say: "NO SOLICITORS ... NO BIBLE THUMPERS ... NO CHRISTIANS ALLOWED ... etc. But sure enough, every Sunday afternoon ... here they come.

I have several tactics, depending on my mood. I might try to ignore them. Or I stare at them with my evil eye. Sometimes I only speak to them in Finnish ... this is always entertaining as they know not whereof I speak! Sometimes I ask them if they want to die NOW ... or five minutes from now ... I give them a choice.

So ... beyond the drug dealers, prostitutes, thieves, bad dogs, errant children and drunk cops, I can handle most anything ... EXCEPT THOSE #@$r^%^&#%@ christians! GAWD HELP US ALL! bob(deckman)nelson
