Subject: Review: Unashamed plug-The Cow Ate Ate Piper
Just been in Shanghai for a couple of weeks as my wife's father passed away and I went back for the funeral ceremonies.

While I was there I picked up a copy of Paul Curran's 'The Cow Ate The Piper'

I have known Paul many years and played at the pub he runs, The Blarney Stone. Paul has recorded 4 albums over the years he has lived and worked in Shanghai and this is the best. Backed by many local ex-pat musicians and well mixed.

Tracks on the album

Botanay Bay
Lamorna
Rocky Road to Dublin
Spancill Hill
I Hung My Head
The Town of Ballybay
Frog Went a Courting
Viva La Quinta Brigada
Rolling Hills of the Border
Cow Ate the Piper
Pancho & Lefty
Love in Vain
Johny Jump Up
Ride On
Folsom Prison Blues
Red Rose cafe
The Swimming Song.

Go to www.bunglerye.com

The CD is available via Claddagh Records

And if you ever visit Shanghai make sure you go to The Blarney Stone, it is on Dongping Lu in the old French Quarter, good food and beer plus live music 6 nights week.
