Funny- not all that long ago the Repubs wholeheartedly embraced tie "Birther" assholes when they thought it would get them votes.

And they still embrace the TeaBaggers and other crackpot assholes like Limbaugh, Beck, Scott Walker, Hucksterbee and all the rest.

Not much Trump or anyone else could do now to further "Tarnish The Republican Brand".
